Booking the Choir
Tier 1 bookings require a minimum of 3 weeks' notice. Tier 2 (corporate and gala) require 4 weeks minimum. Tier 3 (flagship and diplomatic events) require 8 weeks minimum. For events in the December period (Throne Room season), we recommend booking 10–12 weeks in advance. If your event is sooner, please contact us directly — we will do our best to accommodate urgent bookings where our schedule allows.
On booking confirmation, a 30% deposit secures your date and locks in your agreed fee. The remaining 70% is due 7 days before the event date. For international bookings, a 50% deposit is required. We accept mobile money (MTN, Vodafone), bank transfer, and card payment.
Yes — and we encourage it. When submitting your booking form, indicate your preferred music styles and any specific pieces you would like performed. We will confirm whether those pieces are in our active repertoire or whether additional preparation time is required. Not all requests can be guaranteed, but we will always propose the closest available alternative.
Your dedicated liaison is a single point of contact from booking confirmation through to post-event follow-up. They handle: logistics coordination, venue communication, technical rider, arrival and soundcheck scheduling, on-the-day stage management, and post-event photograph delivery.
Yes. We accept international bookings for diplomatic receptions, diaspora events, international festivals, and touring engagements. International bookings require 8+ weeks lead time, a 50% deposit, and all travel costs are itemised separately.
Concerts & Tickets
Tickets for flagship productions are available through our website ticketing page, at the venue box office, and through authorised resellers. For the Christmas Gala and high-demand productions, we strongly recommend purchasing at least 4 weeks in advance.
Gallery/Standard tickets typically range from GHS 100–200. Premium/VIP seating is GHS 250–500. Corporate tables of 10 start at GHS 2,500. Diaspora streaming tickets are GBP 8–15 / USD 10–18.
Our flagship productions at the National Theatre are smart-formal events. We recommend business-formal or traditional wear. The Throne Room Christmas Gala is black tie. Specific dress guidance is communicated with each ticket confirmation.
Yes. The National Theatre has wheelchair-accessible seating and facilities. Please contact us when purchasing your ticket and we will ensure appropriate seating is arranged.
Diaspora Streaming
Once you purchase a stream ticket, you receive a secure access link by email within 30 minutes. On the concert day, click the link, enter your code, and watch the performance live in HD. A 48-hour replay is available after the concert.
We accept GBP, USD, EUR, and CAD for diaspora stream tickets. GHS is available for Ghana-based purchasers. All international payments are processed securely online.
Our technical team monitors all streams in real time. If you experience issues, email us at choraleafrica@gmail.com or WhatsApp +233 25 612 5118. A replay is always available for 48 hours after the event.
Yes. Our streams are compatible with all modern devices — laptop, desktop, tablet, and smartphone. We recommend a stable internet connection of at least 10Mbps for HD quality.
Joining the Choir
All choral applicants go through a structured voice assessment. Shortlisted applicants are invited to an audition session where we assess pitch accuracy, rhythm, tone quality, and language capacity. You will receive your result within 7 days of your audition.
Yes. Training is fully free for accepted choir members. You commit to the rehearsal schedule and the training programme; we invest in your musical development at no cost to you.
Active choir members commit to approximately 4–6 hours per week: Thursday evening rehearsal (2.5 hours), Saturday morning rehearsal or sectional (2–3 hours), plus additional preparation time at home. Production periods may require additional commitment.
Our primary rehearsal base is in Accra (North Kaneshie). Members from outside Accra are welcome but must be able to attend rehearsals reliably. We currently do not offer remote membership for choral singers.
Partnerships
Submit the partnership enquiry form. Our partnerships team will contact you within 48 hours to schedule a brief call. After the call, we send a formal sponsorship proposal with all deliverables, timelines, and payment terms clearly stated.
Yes. All Silver and Gold packages can be customised to align with your brand's specific goals. We are particularly open to bespoke arrangements that create genuine value for both parties — not just logo placement.
In the event of postponement or cancellation beyond our control, sponsorship funds are held and applied to the rescheduled production. If no rescheduled date is confirmed within 12 months, we offer a full refund of all sponsorship funds paid.
